We’re Ron, Dawne, Dylan and Reese — The Traveling Brood. Having kids changed the the way we travel and view life in general. We enjoy checking off items in our bucket list during our travels, but we find just as much joy finding little gems off the beaten path that make life more interesting.
We started this blog to chronicle our travels and also to involve our kids in the writing process as part of our homeschool/worldschool routine. We also hope that it finds a way to other homes and inspire families to experience the world with their kids, regardless of background or budget. Below is our travel & life philosophy:
We’ve always been inspired by travel, and find ourselves counting the days to our next trip. So we finally decided — why not make it a permanent gig?! We’ve now taken the big leap to our biggest adventure yet… moving 3000+ miles away from sunny California to island nirvana Puerto Rico!
We're Ron, Dawne, Dylan and Reese -- a family of four Puerto Rico transplants from California. Every day and every journey is a learning opportunity for us, whether it's on an exotic trip to the Galapagos or a regular trip to the grocery store. We believe in collecting memories, not things and constantly feed our insatiable wanderlust. Join us in our world-schooling adventures here, on
